If you check the box to receive SMS/text messages, we also collect your consent to that communication.

When you visit the Website, certain information is collected automatically by us or our service providers, including your IP address, browser type and settings, device information, operating system, referring pages, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies described below.

2. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies

Meta (Facebook) Pixel. This Website uses the Meta Pixel, a tracking tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. 5. SMS / Text Message Communications

If you check the box on our form to consent to SMS/text messages, Ward Law may text you regarding your case evaluation request, appointment scheduling, reminders, and related follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes, in compliance with mobile carrier and A2P 10DLC requirements. Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of hiring Ward Law or of any purchase.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:

Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, form processing, and advertising measurement (for example, GoHighLevel and Meta), and who are permitted to use the information only to perform those services.

Legal and safety reasons - when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, enforce our terms, or protect the safety of others.

Business transfers - in connection with a merger, sale, or other transfer of our practice or assets, subject to applicable confidentiality obligations.

As described in Section 2, use of the Meta Pixel may constitute "sharing" of information for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state privacy laws, even though Ward Law does not sell your information for money. See Section 8 for your choices.

7. Contact Form Submissions Are Not Confidential

Submitting information through the Website's form or otherwise contacting us through the Website does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information you send us through the Website is not protected by the attorney-client privilege and may not be treated as confidential. Please do not send sensitive or time-sensitive details about your legal matter until an attorney-client relationship has been established in writing. An attorney-client relationship with Ward Law is formed only through a signed engagement agreement.

8. Other State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and similar laws in other states), including the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, request deletion or correction of your information, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information.

We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel may be considered "sharing" for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws. To opt out of this sharing, or to exercise any other rights available to you under applicable law, contact us using the information in Section 15. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting DNT signals, the Website does not currently respond to them.

13. Children's Privacy

The Website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
